Bangladesh is a point above Sri Lanka and even though the World Cup 2015 is still in a very early stage it is difficult to imagine on both sides forecast in their respective positions after their first two matches.
Sri Lanka did not seem to convince the majority of his party against Afghanistan while they won by four land on the back of the century from Mahela Jayawardene. They looked slow in the match against New Zealand in the first match of the tournament and they have also been affected by injury to the thigh Jeevan Mendis ' that has led him out of the World Cup.

But Sri Lanka has a record of 37 for 4 against Bangladesh in ODIs, and the dominated have almost always. Last year they won the close encounters of the ODI series of three matches in Bangladesh as well as their Asia Cup encounter. Although a couple of parties were close and Bangladesh had their moments Sri Lanka prevailed. The last time it lost to Bangladesh was in 2013 but it has never lost to them in a World Cup 2015.

Preparations for Bangladesh were almost tossed Mushfiqur Rahim getting hit on the hand but are only a bruise the best batsman of the team will be available. The departure of Al Amin Hossain has come as a surprise for the team also but Captain Mashrafe Mortaza said that the episode is behind them.

Victoria 105 management of Bangladesh on Afghanistan helped establish his credentials early in the tournament and the only point of the game left against Australia was the luck you have been looking for since the beginning of last year. Now they have an opportunity to promote their cause and look for a place in the tournament which is beyond just security and respectability.
